JOEL C. JOHNSON President
& CEO |
| Mr. Johnson has over 24 years of experience in the petroleum
industry. He is the Founder and President & CEO of The
TransGlobal Oil Co., spent 11 years as President & COO
for Maverick Energy & Development Corp., and 7 years
with various independents. He has a diversified platform
of experience in the energy industry. He began his career
in the Permian Basin, and has enhanced that experience in
petroleum economics, strategic planning, investor relations,
corporate strategy and a complete understanding of land,
legal, drilling, completing and producing oil and natural
gas properties. He coordinates with outside legal counsel
in handling title examination, pooling, unitization, escrow
transactions, and maintaining the responsibility for keeping
the company current with domestic oil and natural gas opportunities.
He is responsible for negotiating and administering all
joint venture agreements, exploration agreements, operating
agreements, acquisition purchase agreements, title documents,
and instruments of conveyance and contracts for the exploration
and drilling for oil and natural gas properties. He has
participated with a number of the top 100 producers in the
United States. He is a member, Independent Petroleum Association
of America, (IPAA) American Association of Professional
Landmen (AAPL), Texas Independent Petroleum Royalty Owners
(TIPRO). |
GIANNI
D. DE BIAGI
Senior
Vice President |
| Mr. De Biagi has over 15 years of diversified petroleum
experience. He is Senior Vice President and a member of
the Board of Directors of The TransGlobal Oil Co. Prior
TGO he spent 11 years as Executive Vice President for Maverick
Energy & Development Corp. Mr. De Biagi has over 15
years of diversified experience in the energy industry.
He began his career as a prospect generating consultant.
He has had extensive exposure to all aspects of small E&P
administration including prospect generation and promotion,
land acquisition and maintenance, drilling and production
operations, economic analysis and reserves estimation. Additionally,
De Biagi broadened his career while focusing on strategic
planning for, including supply, demand and price forecasting,
and analysis of strategic marketing alternatives. Mr. De
Biagi is a member of The Independent Producers Association
of America (IPAA). |
GARY HAMPTON
Exploration Manager, Geologist |
| Mr. Hampton has over 28 years experience in the petroleum industry as a geologist. Mr. Hampton is responsible for supervising the exploration and exploitation of the company. He continues to target projects that are 3-D seismic projects, tight gas sand plays and other areas. Mr. Hampton directly supervised a staff of seven geoscientists and three support personnel while working for Belco Energy Corp (Houston, Dallas 1995-2000). Managed a team project to permit, acquire, process, and interpret a 130 square mile 3-D seismic shoot. The data was utilized to drill shallow Yequa bright spots, resulting in six new discoveries. Built annual capital and G&A budgets, coordinated staff training, tracked spending, and negotiated joint ventures with industry partners. Was a member of Belco's "road show" team for the company's IPO in 1996 and debt offering in 1997 (ticker BOG-NYSE). From 1986 1989 Mr. Hampton was employed by Clayton Williams Energy San Antonio and Midland, Texas Exploration Manager, where he screened deals and generated prospects, with emphasis on Frio/Vicksburg and Austin Chalk trends. Mr. Hampton generated prospects adding 5 MMBO in recoverable reserves with excellent project ROI. He was promoted from Senior Geologist to Exploration Manager in 1994. From 1980-1984 Mr. Hampton was employed by Champlin Petroleum Houston, Texas Exploration Geologist where he generated prospects and screened deals, working primarily onshore Gulf Coast Texas trends - Frio/Vicksburg, Yequa, Wilcox. He made deeper pool discovery in Kay Creek field (Frio), Victoria County. From 1978 1980 Mr. Hampton was employed by Texas Eastern Pipeline Houston, Texas Reservoir Geologist Estimated reserves and forecast production for the company's two pipeline systems utilizing log analysis, decline curve analysis and subsurface mapping. Mr. Hampton graduated from the University of Southern Mississippi with a B.S. - Geology in 1978. |
